So I took my PN exam today and just like everyone else, I tried the pvt trick and got the following message:
"The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time."
I had 204 questions and it cut me off. I still had about 1/2 hour time remaining. I did use the white board they provided after the tutorial ended (almost 20min into the exam)..
Anyone with any feedback would be soooo appreciated.

It means your results are in hold pending QA/QC of your exam. If no blatant issues, usually 48-72hrs for review of check in, audio, video, keystrokes, test pattern, etc. there is nothing you can do nor will the BoN receive your result until the hold is lifted.

what is the PVT trick
Yes, it's just frustrating that that message could possibly exist. If the tests is as simple as pass or fail then I don't get the hold issue. Oh well, here's to waiting...
It's a "trick" that you can do to see if you passed or not
The hold is because there was an issue tested quickly, problem with the computer, used cell phone on break (guaranteed invalidated results), wrote on white board before tutorial over, issues with palm vein scan, power surge, among other issues.
The gross rule violation (bringing test prep material into testing center, cell phone use, cheating, false ID, etc) you should be well aware of what went wrong and that your result (pass or fail) will be invalidated and incident reported to BoN.
There were a lot of issues a few months ago with dry skin causing issues with the check in & palm scan. The holds were lifted in 2 days in that case once QA/QC validated the results.
Sure, I understand all that that you mentioned but that is specific to every individuals case. The only thing that I took with me to the test center was my ID and the ATT letter, no watch, no nothing. I didn't take any breaks, I didn't move out of my seat, I didn't have any problem with the scanner, and didn't have any computer problems... My name is the same as is has always been. Thing only thing that I can think of with ALL the things people say could possibly be a reason, is the fact that I used the white board that THEY provided us (used 20 min into the actual exam). If they are holding my results based off that, then why even provide the tool if they think its a way of cheating?!?!
So this is the message I got today:
"Our records indicated that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." BUT it doesn't say contact a board...
Should I be hopeful??

That mean you passed. Well according to 2012 when I took my boards, I suppose things could have changed since then

Nsheik- I took my board test on May 27, 2014 and received the good pop up about 15 minutes after the test. (Texas) That was a Tuesday and checking the BON site, my license was posted Thursday. Pearson Vue site still said no results yet but could pay for 'quick results'. From my research, 98% of people getting good pop up(Our records..you have scheduled...cannot make another..) passed. Wishing you well.
