Who cares. You should find a new job, that place sounds like a pit.

Anyone going/completed to Chamberlain FNP program?
I started July 2014. Going out n my 4th class. I love it so far. Better than any of the other 3 colleges I've been to.
-
Why should I become an rn instead of a pa?
You should be a PA. I've been a nurse for 6 yrs and am in np school because I don't really like being a nurse that much.

MEN, dont come into nursing
I call it the blue-collar of the white-collar industry. You're educated, a constantly using your mind. But also you were doing physical labor like lifting people, constantly on your feet, and at times feel like a high paid waiter or High paid secretary. You were exposed to every disease under the sun, blood, urine, stool, vomit, and every other kind of excretion. there's also a heavy amount of liability and responsibility. It's not worth the money some days. I like women, but it's not fun after working with them for six years. Although you're instantly best friends with any other male nurse in the hospital. Some good parts about being in a nursing industry is that you'll always have a job, the pay is decent. you are well respected as an individual.I would recommend being a nurse over being a MA. I did the LPN to RN route, if I would do it over again I would choose to be a paramedic first and then an RN.

Career switch to Nursing
Good luck. I did the Lpn first. If I were to do it again I wouldn't be a paramedic first. I'm now working on my MSN. Best of wishes

MEN, dont come into nursing
I don't like being a nurse for several different reasons with only one or two being because I'm a dude. With that said I am in FNP school to do more of a practitioner role or teach. I tell people all the time "don't go into the nursing field" men and women a like. There are many pros but many cons...just like any other industry I suppose.
-
Did anyone judge you for being a male nurse?
I'm judged all the time. It's more annoying when some of the nurses will give me a heavier assignment load or the psych patients because "he's a guy, he can handle it"

What is the best NP job you have seen???
I am still in NP school, I am just thinking ahead. In your opinion what is the best NP job that you have seen? Whether it's traveling or 3 12hr shifts. I have heard of a 7 days on 7 days off thing that sound pretty good.
