I am going to Gardner-Webb University. I brought my calculator with me, but once I saw the math, I realised that I didn't need it, so no, I did not use it.
On the report 'guinea pig' questions hindered my score quite a bit in the science and reading portions. I think I should get the score that I actually earned!
Well, I studied for about 8 hours total. Mainly reviewing verbal skills. I spent about 2 hours reviewing math, and that was about it. When I took the test it was completely different than how I had been studying, so I adjusted and went with the flow. If I could go back in time, I would have purchased the official TEAS study guide on line. I think that would have prepared me better.
I think you should be able to score around an 80 (in the TEAS study guide) in all sections but the science section before taking it, but then again, that is just what I think. Everyone is different.
Isn't it a relief that it's over? I took mine on Saturday - I didn't do very well on the science portion, but my other scores were high enough to counteract it and according to my nursing advisor, my adjusted score is high enough to get me full points. So I'll take that! I'm just glad to put it behind me!
