Took NCLEX yesterday

Published

I was wanting to see if anyone could give me some insight:

I took my NCLEX yesterday. I didn't tell anyone I was taking it (not friends, mom, dad...nobody) because I had already made myself sick (couldn't eat or sleep for days) just knowing it was coming up.

I must have had 50 SATA questions. They just kept hammering me. I felt like I knew absolutely nothing. At question #30 I was ready to leave. I wanted it to be over. My test shut off at 75.

Today my IPN was cancelled on the BRN website. I did the Pearson Vue trick and got this:

I am in California and heard the trick doesn't work here?? I don't know what to think. I can't wait weeks to find out. This has been my life dream. I don't know what to think of it all.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You PASSED!!! I have mine in 3 weeks here in Florida. Did you use Kaplan?? Thanks

You were right....I passed! Thanks so much. And to answer your question, I used Kaplan :)

Specializes in Maternal Newborn.

Awesome! Overall, was NCLEX harder/easier than you thought? How were the questions compared to Kaplan? Thanks again

Honestly I heard that taking Kaplan makes the questions on the NCLEX much easier because Kaplan questions are so difficult. I found much comfort in this. However, I personally felt it was much more difficult than Kaplan. There was nothing easy about it :( Hardest test of my life!
