Took NCLEX today

Published

well, i took the nclex-rn today finished in 1 hour, 75 questions. i knew about 1/3 of the questions, 1/3 i didn't know at all and 1/3 i was kind of unsure of. i had 2 math questions, 6-8 sata, quite a few delegation/priority questions, a lot of pharm too. i had the blue screen at the end. i tried the pvt when i got home and got the "good pop-up", i tried the pvt again a few hours later with no change, still the "good pop-up".

i am so relieved that studying is over for now, at least until i actually see my name on the bon website (i am in california, no quick results). i pray the pvt is as acurate as everyone on the site have proclaimed it to be!

prayers definitely helped me tremenously today.

i wish all of you waiting to take the nclex all the best and that we can all move forward in our new careers as rn's!!

thank you too for this site and everyone who posts, they have helped me tremendously in my nursing journey!! :redpinkhe:redpinkhe

Hi Pegosys, You must be the happiest person in the whole universe.

Congratulations, can you take a minute out of your joyous moment

and comunicate to us how it happened and what worked for you.

Again congratulations.

I am very happy! Can't wait to have the PVT trick confirmed, just for peace of mind. I took the test at 1pm, got there at 12:30 and they took me in right away, which was great, I was so ready to get it over with.

I used the NCSBN questions for 3 weeks ($50) kaplan questions (was scoring 58%-69% on the tests) and used Delegation, Prioritization by La Charity (good book), and the HURST book and CD. I would rotate studying amongst all of these, which gave me a well rounded bank of knowledge. At the last minute, in the car, I looked over my pharmacology classes and side effects.

I guess it worked. I didn't really have a "plan" for say. I figured the more questions I did, the more I learned. I probably did about 3,000 questions over all in the last month.

I wish all of you who haven't taken the NCLEX yet all the luck in the world. You CAN do it! Being positive is most important, as well as prayers!!

YOU WILL PASS!

congratulations! :yelclap:

Good luck on your final results!
