I need some words of encouragement.. I am feeling pretty low My test stopped at 85.. It had a lot of the "check all that apply" doesn't that make the chances of getting it right lower? I hope I passed.. I am just really feeling afraid at this time. Help!

Hello everyone! Well, I took the PN exam today and I too stopped at 85. I'm freakin' out! I already checked my answers from the questions that I can remember and 3 were wrong! Aarrgh! This is so frustrating. What's worse is that I started at 8:00 a.m. and was finished at 9:05. I should've slowed down. I can't help but feel like a failure. I hate the fact the quick results doesn't apply here in CA. So I have to wait for 3-4 loooong weeks! Hopefully it's good news. Congrats to everyone that passed their boards and I hope to be one of them soon!

Try not to freak out! I know easier said than done... I took mine in Feb. and I felt the sameway. I stopped at 85 and remembered ALOT of the questions I had and I knew for a fact I missed at least 3... It took me 3 weeks and 2 days to get my results. I passed and I know you passed. Just have faith in yourself. It took me about 45-50 min. to take my test. You cant wait for the results now but when the envelope does arrive your heart will drop and it will take you a few min. to open. Well, thats what happened to me at least... Where in Cali are you from? Good luck and keep us posted....

I just took the NCLEX two days ago and stopped at 85. the questions were so damn hard. I felt like dying after the test.. It was nerve-wracking. I got 13-15 select all that apply, a lot of med surge and about 13-16 pharm questions asking about different stuff. A lot on PEDS, only had 4 math questions. did i pass? I was an A-student who went to a private school in east LA. I studied my butt off for 3 months :heartbeatand used different strategies from kaplan Qbank, mosby's and saunder's. But why do i feel like i failed coz i had too many select all that apply questions?
HELP!!!!!

I just took my Nclex-Pn today and am kindda discouraged, can't seem to take my mind out of this experience. The computer shut off at 85 questions and i was just into 30minutes of the time, i don't know if i was too fast or not, but i knew that i didn't know most of the questions. I was praying and hoping that the questions would keep coming cos i thot i had a better advantage of passing that way, pls any word of encouragement would do, cos am really dazed now. Passing the nclex mean so much to me, av been checking the nclex website forever, is there a quick site i can go to? cos just stayn like dis and waiting is almost driving me crazy.......

I felt the same way you did, I actually went to the bar after taking the NCLEX and hid from my wife for 3 - 4 hours. I was afraid and absolutely sure I failed. I fortunately passed, the terrible thing about the NCLEX in my opinion is that you just start getting in test mode and the darned thing just shuts off and says your done.
Have faith, you know more than you think you do.
Worst case senario, you retake the NCLEX
Good luck and Congrats on completing the PN portion of your schooling:nuke:
