hello I recently posted a question just like this. I believe the same people gave me the same responses as you are recieving. I took their advice and was honest and up front. I am happy to inform you that I have been working in between 2 county jails for the last 5 months and wouldn't want to work anywhere else. Good luck Clint

Hello all, I just recently got a job for an LPN position in my county jail and passed my background check, of course. But I have to fill out a more in depth background check for the actual jail (work for a company that has a jail contract) and one of the questions is ... Have you ever used an illegal drug before? I have used marijuana before and it has been a very long time ago(I am 31 and last time I did I was 19 or 20), do you think it is prudent to be honest or would "what they don't know wont hurt them". I would hate to be disqualified for being honest but really don't wish to not answer the question honestly any suggestions? thanks:D

I felt the same way you did, I actually went to the bar after taking the NCLEX and hid from my wife for 3 - 4 hours. I was afraid and absolutely sure I failed. I fortunately passed, the terrible thing about the NCLEX in my opinion is that you just start getting in test mode and the darned thing just shuts off and says your done. Have faith, you know more than you think you do. Worst case senario, you retake the NCLEX Good luck and Congrats on completing the PN portion of your schooling:nuke:
