Immediately after u are done with your exam.log into Pearson vue as if you are registering to take the exam, put in your credit card info, you pass if it says you have recently taken this exam and another can't be scd at this time. It will have a triangle with an exclamation point on the inside

Sorry, Jennifer, but that's not good advice. Doing this immediately means you stand a good chance of losing money.

Firefistace: The exam is scored TWICE within a 24 hour period. You CANNOT rely on the indicators of a 'good pop up' if you are checking these results this quickly. If you check after the first scoring (and it thinks you are pass so far), you will get 'the good pop up' and therefore believe you have passed. And you may have! But if you are borderline, and on the SECOND scoring you have ultimately failed, you won't know that until either you try the trick later or get the bad news in the mail. :(

Also, if you were marked as 'fail' on the first scoring, you'd get to the point where it WOULD take your money, even if you PASS on the second scoring. And will have thrown away $200 for no reason. AND will be crushed thinking you failed, when later on you find out you passed.

You will need to wait until after 24 hours from completion of the exam has passed. Please don't count the minutes, and report that you tried it 24 hours and one minute later, and "what does this mean". It will serve no useful purpose to stare at the clock, trust me!

Find something to do that takes your mind off this for a few hours at a shot. Or a few minutes, whatever. And after time sufficient for the SECOND scoring passes, if you want to try the 'trick' again, AND you still cannot register, it is *likely* you have, indeed, passed. If you CAN register, CAN pay $200 again when/if you do this trick again after a full 24 hours, then it is most likely that you have failed.

If you're a first-time test-taker, and educated here in the US, then you have approximately a 91% chance of passing. Those are great odds! :)

Hang in there. If your State participates in Quick Results, you can pay eight bucks after 48 hours and see, officially, if you have passed the exam. If not....you can always keep checking your State BoN's website for licensing updates.

Some States post a few times a week (even daily); some States take weeks or months to update their data. You might get an envelope in the mail before seeing it online in some cases!

Hi, I tried also the trick after I had my exam and I read in some threads that before you submit your cc payment you will notice a red triangle saying recently registered .... But it's not what appeared. I really thought i failed but i keep hoping to wait for the quick result and so I did I Pass!!! Keep believing and Pray, pray and pray.

My point was that if you do this trick before BOTH scorings are final.....which can take up to 24 hours.....you might think you failed OR passed incorrectly.

If PV tries to charge your card (insufficient or not), and it's only after the FIRST scoring, it's because you failed on the FIRST scoring. Sometimes the second scoring will be a 'pass', in which case you went through hell thinking you failed.....but did not. That's the point I was getting at.

If you're going to do the trick thing at all, you should wait until BOTH scorings are done. Otherwise, it's COMPLETELY irrelevant what pop up you got!

1. Take a deep breath

2. Take an honest look at your school performance and your school's NCLEX pass rate.

3. You finished after 75 questions, There are only TWO possibilities. Either you did extremely well and the computer decided that you are competent to be a nurse OR you performed so badly that no matter how many questions you answered you would fail, otherwise you would be answering up to 265 questions.

4. Which is the obvious possibility for you? Did you get As and Bs in school or barely passed every class?
