It shut off at 75! I was so scared when I left the proctor had me sit down and relax before I left the building.
Last time I got all 265 questions so I was relieved, but at the same time, scared that it shut down so quickly.
I just did Pearson Vue (well my friend did it for me because I thought I was going to throw up) and it won't let me past the pop up saying I'm in the system! Hopefully they are right and I did it this time! Nervous, worried, and sick........48 hours cannot come quick enough!

Good luck! The waiting truly is the worst part! Try to keep yourself busy so your mind doesn't wander (easier said than done, I know!) We all have our fingers crossed for you!

hey lola, pray for me too, its frustrating when u don't get it the first time, i still believe in God that i serve that everything in this life is possible. congratulation gurl
I am so happy that its over for me, but I'm praying for all of you as well! Thanks for your well wishes and support! Second time around wasn't as bad as the first time during the exam. I found the first time I focused on the number of questions I was receiving and when it didn't shut off at 75 like it did with my friends I was so scared and kept looking at the number. 85, 103 - want a break? No, kept going until ? 230!!!! Then I took a break, came back and did the other 35......and knew I failed because I kept clicking boxes at the end. So the second time, I took a friend's advice and put my license in the lower right corner so I couldn't see the number and focus on it. Another great piece of advice I got was to re-read the question 3 times before looking at the answer. Of course, I am not a great "comprehender" so I took the dry erase board and re-wrote every single question so I could be sure I knew it was asking me......then I looked at the answers .......Hope that helps the anxiety bound!
Good luck to everyone and thanks for all your good luck wishes!
Lola, u are very good, i just learn t from ur words, took mine last week which was my first, was unsuccessful, back to book now, the lord that answer ur prayers will surely answer mine too and others...thanks alot
I'm sorry the first time didn't work out for you either...but it can be done! I read this great book called "NCLEX strategies and Skills by Nancy Didona and a book called NCLEX-RN New-Format Questions by Lippincott that helped me practice doing the "higher level" questions and give me the confidence I needed.
The strategies book was good because it showed me how to eliminate answers if I was unsure of questions....Honestly I learned so much from just reading the chapters- take breaks when you need them (I didn't do that first time either); (make sure if you get a lot of questions take a break and re-group. You can take breaks at ANY time, not just during scheduled breaks (I didn't read that)- and if you get all 265 questions and the computer still cannot determine competency it will go by the last 60 QUESTIONS.....so if you get more than 200 questions, take a break, re-group and answer the last 60 to the best of your ability- I gave up and started checking boxes!!!!!
good luck to you and if you need me give me a shout out on the board ok???
You will be fine!!!!! I believe in you!

I took mine this morning as well!
My first attempt led me through 265 agonizing questions, this time I had 85Q's w/ 8-9 SATA's. I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight! I tried the "pearsonvue trick" and it gave me the message saying that I cannot reschedule at this time & their records indicate that I already have this test scheduled.. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? :chair:
& is the trick reliable?
Yeah for 85 Questions this time and SATAs.....whoooo hoooooo! Pearson trick seems like it worked for you! My guess is, you passed! So far, I don't know anyone who has failed it and received the pop up that they are already in the system!!! Good luck and PLEASE let me know as soon as you get that pass!!!!
