I'm taking my NCLEX on Friday. Everyone has passed it from my class so far. One girl who took it got 12 SATAs and shut off at 85. She passed so freak out as little as possible. Go workout, go eat some chocolate...hang out with the boys if you're a fella. I decided to pick up a bunch of hours at work to take my mind off things.
I just took my test today as well and was shut off at 75. Help me out...what exactly is a SATA question? Format of what type of questions? I should know this but I don't. I am positive I failed. I had a ton of pharm questions as well as who the nurse would assess first. No dosage calc. There were also a lot of delegation questions. Is it normal to feel this defeated? Somehow I knew I would get cut off at 75. I feel awful. Tell me I'm not the only one!
ladysnyper- congrats!
nmrach- I feel the same way as you. I feel down and out. I feel like the dumbest person after taking that test. It is weird. I always make a-b and when I felt like I did not know any of the answers for this test I knew I failed... time will tell. 41 hours left to find out.
Hey i know what you feel..waiting for the results was the worst days of my life..CA has no quickresults..imagine i waited 5 days...ive been crying days before i found out coz i was sure i failed...i was always down to two answer choices that both seemed correct! Just hang in there ok? Keep praying...
God bless you..
Hang in there. Yep, still possible to have passed. The only thing that matters is the percentage of questions answered correctly. Wait for the official results. Good luck.:heartbeat SATA is just a style of question and does not indicate level of difficulty. Some have passed with 75 and no SATA.

I took the big one today and thought I was going to throw up when the computer shut off at 75! I heard that you only pass at 75 if you get a ton of SATA and I only one 2. Does this mean I probably failed? I had not math questions and a ton of med questions that I was not sure about. I also had a lot of who do you see first questions. Anyone got any advise or ideas?
