Well I took the Nclex RN today. It took me over 3 hours, I had roughly 209 questions. I had 20+ SATA's, 3 pictures, 1 sound, 2 ECG strip questions, and I think 3 put in order questions. I have no idea how many prioritization and delegation questions I had...a lot. and about 6 Med questions.
When the test didnt stop at 75 I took a deep breath and would only verify my question count about every 10 questions..95...105...115...etc I didnt lose heart until I hit 200 questions. The last 10 questions I was sure I got wrong and they were questions that I should have known..they were knowledge questions and I figure I got them wrong since I wasn't getting any higher concept questions (SATA, Priority, delegation etc). Screen went blue at 209 or so and my heart sank, Went home prepared my wife for the worst.
It was without a doubt the worst test i have ever taken.
Tried the PVT a few times and kept getting the cant register at this time pop up (then I saw the exam had not been delivered).
one hour later (about 2.5 hours since I tested) my test said succesfully delivered. I tried PVT again and kept getting couldn't register at this time. Ate lunch, had a cup of coffee and started preparing a study plan for the next Nclex attempt.
Then I tried the PVT one more time...and got the "good" pop up.
I still do not know if this is 100% spot on the money...but until i can get my quick results it will hold me over. I want to thank the moderators and posters to this board, you have been a wealth of info and a great support system for me. Cross your fingers for me that PVT is correct in my case.
I so want to walk at graduation as an RN.
