Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your wishes on a successful NCLEX. I went and took the test today. It took me about an hour and I had 75 questions. I took another CAT exam as a prep for NCLEX throuh Silvestri. I passed after 75 Q's. I'm really scared I didn't pass this one, though. A lot of the questions were super hard. I wasn't 100% positive about my answer on about 80% of the questions. I didn't get any dosage calcs. I only got 3 or 4 SATA (Select All That Apply). All the rest were multiple choice. I won't find out until Wednesday. ARRGGHHH!!!

hey i know what you're feeling mine stopped at 75 too...and i know that if you stopped at 75 it means its either you did really good or really bad...took min kast week and i still dont see mhyself in the BON website...i left the exam room that day feeling so stupid...its like the CAT didnt even give me a chance to prove myself!!!:o

well anyway once youve taken the exam the least that can be done is to hope, pray, and wait..

best of luck to you...i hope you pass..

Well while all of you are freaking out about 75... I'm worrying about 80! What the heck does that mean!?! I think we are going to drive ourselves insane before the 48 hours is up!! Keep in mind guys that almost everyone feels like they failed. Try and get some sleep and rest your worried minds.

Very unlucky of me..california doesnt have quickresults..who knows how long i should wait for the results:bugeyes:

I say "BOO" to no quick results! I'm sure you'll know soon. Good luck too all of you, too!

Okay, I gotta ask. Did anyone get any lower end questions, content type questions, on their test?

Mine were mostly prioritizing...which I'm not the best at. I was freaking out because I felt like I was kind of getting the same questions over and over.

I also took mine today and it shut off at 75 questions. I kind of feel like the test handed my own a** to me and said take a hike. Holy moly that sucked. I never want to take it again and have never questioned my ability to pass a test before in my life. I just want to know if I need to start studying again or not.

OMG, I just got home from taking NCLEX. Talk about nausea. I got the 75 questions as well. I got a TON of teaching and prioritization. I had a really hard time identifying what was a low level versus a higher level. They all seemed really hard to me. They were really confusing and I kept thinking to myself that no amount or time taken to study would have prepared me for what was on that exam. I have no idea how I did. If I failed then I obviously have a lot of work to do because if I failed at 75 then that's really bad. Ahhh, I can't take it, and I have to wait till Thursday to find out! Any reassurances from people who know more about this test than me? 75 questions, lots of prioritization and teaching, no math, 3-4 "check all that apply", 10 or so with drugs, ahhh!

I know exactly how you feel now. That's all I can say. I know E X A C T L Y how you feel. The next 48 hours will take forever to go by.

I took my NCLEX RN today. I got 75 questions, a ton of select all that apply, a ton of priority Q's and a few drugs. I was hoping for more drugs, I know those....I feel like I failed miserably because all of the questions seemed outrageously hard.
