Hello,
Today I took NCLEX..I got 75 questions total and had about 15 select all that apply with no medication calculation questions.. The beginning of the test seemed harder than the last (probably partly because I was terrified in the beginning). I felt well prepared for the test before I took it and did mostly practice questions to prepare. I was scoring 8 out of 8 on the Lippincott NCLEX determinant tests but I can't help but feel like there is a possibility that I failed! Anyone else have a similar experience? I'm TERRIFIED!!!

I just finished mine: 75 questions, one math question, maybe 7-10 SATA, no other alternate format questions. I'm afraid that's a bad thing but overall I feel pretty decent about it. I'm hoping I'm not one of those people who fail in 75 questions, that would suck.
I feel pretty confident too. The thing that I noticed was that the questions were pretty easy but the answer choices were not exactly what I was hoping for.. I'm sure we did fine! Fingers crossed!
I'm keeping mine crossed too!

Most people feel like they failed after the NCLEX. Chin up, I'm sure you did just fine. It's the wait that's a killer.

I'm not here yet... How long does it take to find out how you did? I thought people knew right away, no?
It depends on the state, but the only state that I know takes a long time (4-6 weeks) is California. Otherwise, you can pay for quick results within 48 hours or check your BON website for your state until your license shows up. I knew in less than 18 hours that I passed.

All the formats you listed indicate only that the computer tossed out those formats, nothing more. Having or not having any one type of format doesn't mean anything either way: good or bad.
What DOES mean something is that you got the minimum number of questions. You were either doing very well and were able to prove competency for entry-to-practice quickly.....OR.....you were doing very poorly and could prove INcompetency very quickly.
Given how you did in school, the rigor/reputation of your nursing program, and how you prepared for the NCLEX....which scenario is more likely?
Good luck :)
I passed! My license went live on the state Department of Health website about 2 hours ago!
Yay! Congratulations!
