Took NCLEX PN today- Shut off at 85!

Hello Everyone,

I took my Nclex Pn this afternoon for my second time. I only studied NCLEX 3000 (here and there) the first time I tested and failed at 146 on December 16th. I found out on January 9th and was devistated. Ever since that day I have been studying EVERYDAY for like 5 to 6 hours. I studied ALL of NCSBN learningext.com did all of the Content and questions. I also went to a 8hr a day 3 day review course. My test today consisted off ALOT of PHARM, 6 Select all that apply, No Calculations, ALOT of which room do you room with who and What patient do you see first. I just pray to GOD I PASS. I was hoping I would stop at 85 because I heard if you do that means you either really failed or really passed. Some of my questions I wasn't to sure about, the NCLEX is very tricky- honestly I don't know what more I could have done to study. Please keep me in your prayers everyone and I will continue to pray for all of you. :bowingpur

Haha I was so depressed when I failed my Nclex the first time, and it was so funny the other night my Fortune Cookie said to me "The Greatest Triumph is after Defeat," and I thought heck yea- Victory will feel so GOOD after I pass this STUPID test. It will only make my License feel so much of the better to me!!! Well hopefully this is it, if not maybe 3rd times the charm (I hope second is).

Hey your test sounds just like mine. I took my NCLEX on Monday and it shut off at 85 questions. I didnt have any med calculation questions, a few SATA, some pharm, but mostly priority questions. I found out yesterday I passed and felt as if I missed a whole lot.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yeah: I have to wait like 3 weeks probably for my results though cuz I live in WONDERFUL california. Thanx for giving me hope!!!

congrats ! i took mine today the 5th.. scariest test ever. mine shut off at 85. i had a little bit of everything. pharm, mat, sata. uggh i dont wanna think about it. i feel like i failed. i dont remember any of the questions lol i was done in like an hour and some.. i hope i passed cause ive been working so hard for this. i studied so much.. but i feel like i didnt knowa thing ont that test. im in cali so im not gon find out if i failed or passed till april. =[. wish me luck and good luck to you.
