if you feel like you did pretty good odds are you did. The test stops once you reach either enough right answers to be deemed competent or so many wrong answers there's no recovery. So as long as you feel good (especially about the last question you answered) you should be fine. Ps My results were up in just a couple of days online.

Is this for RN or PN? If PN, it's the minimum number you can be given.....which means either you did very well and was able to demonstrate within that time that you were competent to begin practice, OR you did poorly enough that the CAT knew no matter how many questions it gave you, you'd never pass this time.
Given the kind of student you were, how you prepared for the test, how your practice questions went.....what do you think is a more likely scenario?
For what it's worth, when it comes to the minimum number of questions, doesn't really matter how the last question was: if it was above passing, you were already far enough above passing that it was going to stop at the minimum, you could certainly get it wrong and not be affected by that. If you were below passing at the time you got the last question wrong, it wouldn't BE the last question, it would continue to give you more until 95% certainty was reached. Unless, of course, it was SO FAR below passing.....well, you get the idea.
The PVT shouldn't be messed with before 24 hours has passed, as any pop ups given before BOTH sets of scores are completed don't mean anything either way. After 24 hours, after both scores are finalized, the pop ups are pretty good indications of whatever will be.
Good luck!
I have to wait 24 hours for the good pop up to be accurate??
As accurate as it ever is....yes.
The NCLEX exam is scored two times, once immediately upon completion (essentially, the moment it's complete) and then a SECOND time sometime during the following 24 hours. It occasionally takes longer than this if your exam is placed on hold for any reason during this period, but typically 24 hours does it.
Example: let's say your first score is a 'pass' (likely :) ) You will do the PVT thingy and see 'good pop up' and think YAY!!! I passed! but it's only the first scoring. It's the second one that matters.
In your case, you had the minimum number of questions (I think...you still haven't said if this is LPN or RN exam) so it's extremely unlikely your second score will be different than your first: no 'on the fence' with the minimum. Passed or failed.
If it's any number in between minimum and maximum, the potential exists for the second score to be different than the first, that's why there IS a second scoring (quality control, accuracy, etc).
Every now and then, someone does the PVT too early, after only the first score, thinks they failed (because the first score wa a 'fail' and they got the 'bad' pop up) and they are crushed. Then they find out two days later that they actually PASSED, and swear up and down how "the trick doesn't work". People have also mistakenly believed they passed, only to find out they failed. In reality, they didn't do it correctly, they didn't wait for the scorings to be complete, THEY screwed it up
At any rate, hang in there, you'll know for certain soon enough!
