Took NCLEX on Monday

As my user name states, I have been Sleepless since Monday night, well Sunday actually! I took the exam on Monday, had an appt for 1215, although arrived early and they took me in about 45 min earlier than my appt time, all I could think was "Mommy, help me!" lol. I NEVER feel confident about any test I ever take, all through nursing school I would always say, "I failed that one" and I would end up passing...I am my own worst critic. Well, I studied for this exam, doing practice questions, practice questions, and more practice questions. Well the computer shut off at 75 questions, it was a surreal experience, I was taking this test, reading throughly, but when I left I couldn't remember anything, it's like I was numb. I feel like I bombed it and I'm sick to my stomach. And living in CA, UGGGHHHHH the waiting is torturous! I want to know now..lol And it's only been 3 days since I took it. When should I start putting in the paperwork to reappy and retake the exam? :banghead:

Wait until you get your actual results, there is no reason whatsoever to think about retesting at this point in time.

85% pass the first time. Best of luck to you as you wait for results. Average waiting time is ten days and can take up to a month.

Definitely wait for your results. Many feel they failed and actually passed. Good luck

Yeah, just wait. Although I must say, CA REALLY needs to get with the quick results. It's such a big state with a bunch of great nurses to have them in suspense for weeks and weeks. Most people who come to this Nclex forum seem to be from CA and we end up following their story for sooooooooo long. The suspense is just too much for you guys.

CA is just too much to handle with this. There has to be a better way to notify about results. Thank you for your support.

:hngon:Hang in there. CA has a long wait so try your best to stay positive. Like Suzanne said, 85% pass on first try. And most really think they failed. I know I was convinced I had failed. So try to relax and wait for the results. Keep us posted.......:typing.
