took Nclex 3.22 & 265 questions

Published

Hello. I took the nclex yesterdai at 12pm and got the whole 265 questions. This was my second time taking the test in which i got all 265 questions the first time and failed. Thats why im so worried right now...I feel like i made stupid mistakes..stuff i knew i totally i missed because i was so nervous and couldnt think straight. However, this time i noticed i had more priority questions and delegation questions, and reassigning nurses from other departments. I had like maybe 5-10 SATA and 3 math computations in which i totally know i blew the last one maybe even the other 2 and 1 put in order. Im just writing this to relieve some anxiety. I shall find out tomorrow and i refuse to do the pearson vue trick. I know ppl pass with 265 and I read a lot of posts that did make me feel a little better but I did fail the first time too. EEkk...Help!! >.

we are on the same boat. i took mine march 23rd. i did the PVT and it went to the credit card page, which means i failed. whats your next plan? which reviewer are u gonna use? "

FYI:

Just want to let you know that the PVT is NOT 100% accurate.....................a friend of mine thought that she had Failed because it went to the credit card page.....AND......A couple weeks later she got her letter saying that she had actually PASSED! So, then she checked the MO BON website and sure enough, her name was on there witha license number !

Just thought that I would throw this out there for you and others that are waiting for their results.

I have total test anxiety. I remember taking NCLEX a couple years ago and this was my study method. Understand that this test really has nothing to do with what you know, it's about how to take a test. The study guides I used totally focused on that point, and instead of explaining why an answer was right based on anatomy/physiology/chemistry stuff, it explained why the other answers were wrong because of the way they were phrased. Good stuff. Good luck on your next go round.

Hey~ im sorry to hear that you didn't pass either. But as my mom said~ we are on our way to pass because we have decided to put it behind us and prepare to take the test again. :) As for my review, I took Hurst which i know helped me alot and I still have the notes so i will keep going over those. Im considering maybe NCSBN for 3 weeks. Im just not sure yet. What about you? I plan to mail everything by the end of this week and start studying again monday. GOOD LUCK TO US! and keep me informed! We can support each other!!!!!

florydory: i guess, if there's a miracle that will happen i will pass. but i doubt it

i dont even know if i should pay the 7 dollars to get the quick result. did ur friend do the quick results online?

dream32: i used kaplan. i guess it helped me a lot in prioritization. i am planning to use the NCSBN and I will try to mail my application at the end of the week. i am also going to start reviewing on monday. and yes we can support each other. :)

NO...........she didn't pay for it b/c she had already figured from the PVT, that she had already failed...........so she was already studying again, instead of looking for a job!

GOOD LUCK ! to both of you............

did she try to look for her name at the Board of Nursing website? which state are u guys at?

NO..........she didn't know about that, and did NOT do it until she got the letter saying that she had PASSED !

I think she was in total shock when she got the letter.............she was planning on paying for the NCLEX 2 days after that!

ahh. wow. id be in shock too. im just really praying hard that it will turn out the other way.

maybe your friend didn't do the right thing when she did the pVT?
