Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I was scheduled for NCLEX at Pearson vue at 8 a.m i was done at 11 a.m I drove 45 minutes back to my town went and have lunch and returned home about 3 and checked the Pearson Vue website to re registered it took me through the credit card page and when i submit it said 'Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time" I am freaking out right now is this the good pop up

The exam is scored TWICE within a 24 hour period. You CANNOT rely on the indicators of a 'good pop up' if you are checking these results this quickly. It appears that on your first scoring, you are in a 'pass' position, and therefore found you could not register again. So far, so good :)

BUT.....you will need to wait until after 24 hours from completion of the exam has passed. Please don't count the minutes, and report that you tried it 24 hours and one minute later, and "what does this mean". It will serve no useful purpose to stare at the clock, trust me!

Find something to do that takes your mind off this for a few hours at a shot. Or a few minutes, whatever. And after time sufficient for the SECOND scoring passes, if you want to try the 'trick' again, AND you still cannot register, it is *likely* you have, indeed, passed. If you CAN register, CAN pay $200 again when/if you do this trick again after a full 24 hours, then it is most likely that you have failed.

If you're a first-time test-taker, and educated here in the US, then you have approximately a 91% chance of passing. Those are great odds! :)

Hang in there. If your State participates in Quick Results, you can pay eight bucks after 48 hours and see, officially, if you have passed the exam. If not....you can always keep checking your State BoN's website for licensing updates.

Some States post a few times a week (even daily); some States take weeks or months to update their data. You might get an envelope in the mail before seeing it online in some cases!

Good luck to you :)

That's the good pop up! Congrats!

Thank you this was very helpful my state doesn't participate in quick results so I have to wait and I just tried again good pop up still.... ill keep everyone posted for I am calling BON tomorrow morning

Sounds promising :)

If it's been at least 24 hours, and you still can't register for another exam....you're in :)

Was this the PN exam? If so, you got the maximum number of questions possible. If you were above the passing standard at the time it shut off, you passed. If you were below the passing standard, you failed.

Getting the last one right or wrong doesn't mean much, because if you got it right (but it was a below-standard question) you would still fail. If you got it wrong, but you were at that point above the passing standard, you would still pass.

Hi. It was a drag and drop question and i am 100% sure it is wrong? Wad u think? Thanks..

It is for PN exam..
