To Teas or not to Teas

Nursing Students TEAS

I have a 3.5 gpa and didn't score as many points as I wanted to the first time I took the Teas. I have since read postings for my school and I have more points than others who got into the program last year this time. I am wondering if I really should take my Teas over again to try and get more points? I have a new job and I would have to take off that day without pay. I'm wondering if its work taking over. I would appreciate hearing what other people think?

Congrats on improving! I was in a similar situation, except my issue wasn't work, it was just that money was tight. So I definitely know that conflicted feeling you were talking about. I also ultimately decided to retake and am happy that I did as I improved 10% from the first time. It's a truly relieving feeling, isn't it?

I agree it does feel much better. I am very relieved to get that part over with.

I always try to present the best scores possible to any program. Of course that might mean having to pay again. If you think you could have improved try again!
