What are the pre-req's that you have to take??? Eight sounds liek alot. I took my pre-req's as I went along in the program. I just graduated and I will start University of Phoenix in the fall.
Isnt University of Phoenix really expensive? Do you know how much tuition is? This is this one school online Indiana Wesleyan that is 15thou for Rn to BSN. Is Phoenix more expensive?

These classes are required for the BSN program, but they were not required for my ADN program. I plan to do my RN to BSN at a Dallas University (on-line).
I am in the same boat I have 7 classes left and plan to go to Tech online. I think I will take 3 classes this fall 3 in the spring and 1 during winter break. I have Intro to Chem, Statistics, Hist 1 & 2, Govt 2, Engl 2, and Sociology left.
I didn't know that Texas Tech has an online program. Is it all online?
I was thinking about applying to UTA, because it is the only RN to BSN program in north Texas that does not require advanced pathophysiology. I really don't feel like messing with that, because I have no interest in becoming an NP.
Oh yeah...I signed up for one class in Summer II (July) and 2 classes in Fall.
I graduate in a few weeks and have already signed up for classes in the fall. One reason of course is because I know once I stop I won't want to go back...but I am guessing that this will be the last year that I will get any financial aid since my income will be higher once I start working as a nurse...
I was so burnt out after my ASN program that I chose to wait a year & I'm glad I did. I spent some much needed time with my family & did some of the fun things I missed during school. For myself I thought it better to get my first year of OJT behind me before tackling the books again. At least my initial education is behind me & I'm where I want to be. I'll start classes this fall & can honestly say I'm ready & looking forward to it. I'm behind my classmates who chose to keep on going, but that's ok...I'll get there! :wink2:

If you want to go for your BSN, I have a question for you. Are you going to start taking your BSN pre reqs. right away, or are you taking some time off? I am debating if I should just get it all over with asap, or not. I have 8 more classes to take before I can apply to an RN to BSN program. I am so exhausted from school, but I am also afraid that I won't feel like continuing if I take a year or so off.
