If you want to go for your BSN, I have a question for you. Are you going to start taking your BSN pre reqs. right away, or are you taking some time off? I am debating if I should just get it all over with asap, or not. I have 8 more classes to take before I can apply to an RN to BSN program. I am so exhausted from school, but I am also afraid that I won't feel like continuing if I take a year or so off.
TT is $6,000 for the 2 semesters and the prereqs are a little less than UTT. I plan on going there as soon as I get my pre req's done I have looked at literally EVERY RN-BSN and RN-MSN program to find one that has decent mount of pre req's (not too many but enough) and doesn't cost an arm and a leg since I will be paying for tuition, and also online due to working full time. I have talked to several nurses that work full time and complete the RN-MSN from TT with no problems, yes it's tough but any master's program is going to be and the RN-BSN program is said to be "very doable" so thats why I chose TT.
I wish I had looked more closely at Texas Tech's program. Sounds like a good plan.
