TMCC Fall 2011

Published

Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!

7.15 if I did my math correctly.

3.86 GPA at TMCC . . . but that doesn't count my English courses which I got a B in one of them. . .

Brings my GPA to a 3.54 I believe. . . with a 91.3 on the HESI

OK, that IS really close, at least if people decide not to accept you have a great shot!! Good luck, I am pulling for ya! (For everybody really!)

7.192 is what it comes out to after I did it again with a GPA calculator

I always said I would much rather be a low acceptable score than a high not acceptable. That is frustrating, but you know people that wanted the fast track are in the pool, and some that I talked to last semester said they would wait for UNR! Keep hope up!

Or is 7.2 the cut off of those that got in?? This is so stressful as I am just above 7.2.

and you still have no letter?

I am guessing that the 7.2 was Fall cutoff only since I had 7.4 but dont quote me on that!

So Bristowa are you thinking fast track people are considered differently? Just curious as that was my original goal...

Reno does that mean you think Spring will have a different cut off? EEERRGH I just need an answer this is so frustrating :(

No, not at all! Some of the people I talked to figured that they would rather go the bachelors route rather than the traditional program because the amount of time you spend in one vs. the other is fairly close and you would have a BSN in the end. It seems like there are still a lot of questions in the air since this is a new way of figuring out the classes!

We can still have hope since we live further away... We are both above the cutoff it could still be coming.

My guess would be yes because they haven't sent those letters out yet so there can't be a cut-off and that could still change if people decide not to take their spots for Fall. I did apply for fast-track but I don't think they qualified anything differently just because someone was qualified for fasttrack. That's actually turning out not to be to my benefit for financial aid reasons having the AA!

The budget threw a wrench in the works for everybody didn't they?!
