Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!
Definitely....I only applied to get my AA this last semester even though I have had the units for 15 years so that I could apply for Fast-Track and now that it did me no good for fast track....it is actually causing a problem for my financial aid because they will only help with ONE degree! Run a what if report on the MYTMCC site for the nursing degree, that will show you what courses are being used towards the degree. As far as I am aware those are the only courses they are using. As it plugs in all courses you have taken that will count towards your degree and those left to be taken.
Only MATH 120 or 126, BIOL 223, 224, and 251 must be taken prior to application for admission to the nursing program. The rest of general education courses can be taken while in the nursing program. I found this information at http://www.tmcc.edu/catalog/1112/pdf/worksheets/nursing_deg_aas.pdf

Anybody knows what method do they use to calculate the GPA? Do they consider all previous courses, or only the courses that will apply toward the nursing degree? I am trying to see if they include my CHEM 121, MATH 96 and 120? What about ENG 101 that I took in the first semester of summer session 2011? Please, if you know, let me know... Thank you very much!
