Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan! :rolleyes:

Maybe they took the top 64 and randomized the acceptance? This way the could have evenly matched students in each section. Otherwise you have a semester of A students, then a semester of B students?

I don't think the were going to do that. I asked that question and they said it would just be strictly ranked but who knows. We have all gotten such conflicting info. And as for the dropping my acceptance off. She told me that she would release the holds later this week! So even that wasn't accurate! Haha

If that is true then they have some explaining to do! I have a 7.8! Where is my letter? I tried to register like you said and it would not allow it... I hope it is not a residency issue. :mad::mad:

Time to call! I'd just say you heard cutoff was 7.2 and you haven't received a letter and want to know if residency played an issue because you need to work on your plan B!

I think I will call if no letter comes tomorrow. I am lucky I am already accepted at WNC, but It wasn't my first choice. I am 1.5 hours away from Carson.... not trying to be a brat, but I did work pretty hard to get those scores ya'know?

I sent an email about that and was told someone else has to answer that question... Not sure if this is a good or bad sign.

Sounds bad to me... It isn't fair that they would let us believe we had a chance. If I knew that residency would be an issue, I wouldn't have taken the test or freaked out for months!! It seems unreasonable that with my score I would put behind the others with lower scores.

Well it says we are considered with Bona Fide students on the admission document, so Im just going to hope that is still the case... but I have to admit I am getting more discouraged as time goes by. But if Good Neighbors arent given that benefit they should have made that known. On the upside WNC is in the same system and you got in as a good neighbor....hopefully it will be the same with TMCC.

WNC gives you an extra point for residency/good neighbor, but I had enough points top get in without it so I don't really know what I got in the end. I think we will prob know for sure by tomorrow. Did you try to add the nursing classes? I couldn't but maybe you are in?
