Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!

No, I am out of town until sunday....It's kinda like how the food at a restaurant comes when you get up to use the restroom! I am so glad you got in though, I was pullin for you the most; you really needed fall!

Well if i did then you know you did because you had a higher GPA and HESI I believe!

So I'm sure it'll be there when you get home!

Orientation is on the 19th of August all day. Be aware when you get your letter that there is a typo and it says school starts on the 22nd and it really isn't until the 29th. You are in Truckee so I wouldn't think yours would show up until today anyways! Don't you wish you could run down and help out the postmaster?!? I owned a business up there til December and would get so frustrated with mail! Haha

That is the same day as the 2nd orientation for WNC! Guess I would have to make the decision before I get the details....hmmm Well, I hope you are right about the mail situation, It is possible they went with all residents due to the new Good Neighbor abolishment...

It is unfortunate that you have to wait so long to even know what books to buy, and how do you register for classes and pay for them before you even have orientation? Money is due Aug 18th, right? The books on the online site seem a little light for the semester don't they? I have to get around 10 books for WNC...

The letter tells you what to register for and despite what the letter says they wont open up the registration til later this week sometime. I dropped my letter of acceptance( to the acceptance..LOL) this morning at the nursing dept. All the letters have to be accepted by friday of this week which I am guessing is so that they can get the spring letters out and anybody who may not decide to go for fall....then someone who was at top for spring can be moved up to the fall slot. So it seems there will be some last minute people getting accepted to Fall.....unless all 32 people confirm they are going. Hopefully that makes sense!

I have heard of absolutely not one other person that has gotten a letter yet......so hopefully that just means that my late mail delivery times allowed for an afternoon delivery on Friday and that you all will hopefully be getting something today or tomorrow. I have talked to several people who are waiting on something and some had more points than me.....so just keep your fingers crossed!!!

Now I am worried about the Good Neighbor issue Even though it is a grandfather clause, I signed up for a class for Fall and I still have Good Neighbor status. I hope this isn't an obstacle for us!!! I have yet to get any mail either, but living so far away I am really not expecting any till today or tomorrow... Think positive thoughts :) We also need to remember there are still Spring notifications too, Im guessing they wont go out this week as stated because they are going to wait for all the Fall letters to come back...

You are right! Don't jump on my paranoia train! The school would owe us time and money for all the effort we put in to take the HESI and prepare for school. If they didn't allow us in due to that, we could raise some serious hell! Everything will work out the way it is supposed to. My mail arrives by 1pm so I will know soon enough, you should get your letter today or tomorrow. Good LUCK!!!!!!!:redbeathe
