Tired Of Waiting!!!...did I Pass?

So, I'm here in cali and it's already been a week since I've taken NCLEX-RN and still no results...I still have about another week or two until I find out and it totally is torture!! To all those states who find out in 48 hours...you don't even know how lucky you are. The board still does not have my transcripts...my school didn't send them until July 1, so I don't know how long it will take them to get them in the system.
My test was 75 ?..about 10-15 SATA...lots of prioritizing, infection control and meds...2 math ?...i totally feel like I failed..and from what I've been reading on this website the types of questions and how many questions or how many SATA you get does not matter at all.
So if there is anyone in cali that has taken there boards and is playin the waiting game like myself...I feel for you. I start my job on Monday so at least that will keep me busy. Good luck to all of you out there waiting.

I am very sure I failed. I tested july 2nd, and it has been 8 days, my chances are really slim to none...and my file is complete, so there should be no delay to find my name on the BON????I am in No. Cali...

hi, i also from cali and i've been waiting my result for 2 days, so i understand what it looks like. anyway, i have questions for everybody:

is that true if we open the rn .ca.gov web and click permanent license, and we cannot find our name on it, it means the person failed the test? cuz i took the test on july 7 and i still can't see my name on it. then, i called bon at 8 am asked them about the validation of my ip. the lady said my ip still valid until my expiration date (11/23/08). and then she also said, my ip only expired when i receive the result of nclex by mail, either pass or not pass. however, the day before, the gentleman who i talked to, stated that the ip will be expired right away when the bon get the test result from pearson vue and find out that the person failed the test (which is make sense for me because that means the person is not competent to provide care to the pt). anybody has any idea about it?

results for BRN can take anything from 3 days and more.

I have been waiting for a week already and still haven't found my name in the BON website.. yet, I know someone who found out that she passed through mail and her name was posted right after she received the envelope stating that she passed... that envelope whether the big one or the small one will definitely confirm that we either pass or fail... hope this releives a bit of your anxiety californians.. :twocents:

California does not have quick results? Two days after the exam I found out on the internet I passed (Pearson) and the same day got my license in the mail for SC State Board of Nursing.

Ok, so I just called the BRN and my transcripts are finally in!!! So i asked the guy how many more days I should have to wait to see my name on the brn if I took the exam last thursday...he said to allow three business days for it to show up...and then i said...and if i failed i will get a letter in the mail right....and he said...if u failed you would have already gotten a letter...i just said ok thanks and hung up...but what the heck does that mean...do they have our results sitting there in front of them or what? I dunno...i am now very confused by that statement and if there was a hidden message in it...if that is even possible? I have talked to people that said that they called the board waiting for their results and asking well do i need to keep studying incase if i didn't pass...and they told her no she does not need to keep studying...and then next day or two her name was on the brn. I know they cannot tell you directly over the phone about your results...but do they have them there in front of them?

I took the NCLEX-RN on wed 07/09, I will be checking the website q/day, If I don't see my name by Monday night should I start to studying for second try? Gosh I am so nervous, I can think about 12 questions that I answer wrong!!! I had 15 SATA, do they all count?
