Tips on how to study for finals

Hi Guys, I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to prepare for finals when you have just a week to go? ...Thank you!! xx

I don't think you're going to like my answer, but only giving yourself a week to study was probably a bad move. You really can't cram it all in with one week to go. Did you make flashcards? If so, go through those. Read and re-read all your notes and the highlights in your book. Join a study group.

I usually make study guides for all my previous tests, so when the final comes, BAM I take out my study guides and rearrange them :)

Hmmm this depends on what the teacher is going to test over…some teachers are going to focus mainly on the new chapters therefore they won't emphasize much on the previous material...

But I would go over the first two tests and see what did the teacher test over ?? What did they emphasize on? Then go from there and study that !

Hope this helps…a week is enough by the way ;) you can still put in 40 hrs of studying (I do it all the time)

a week is plenty, i have 1 day :x

It depends. If the exam is cumulative & you have struggled this entire semester, you are gonna be in trouble. If it's new material, review your notes, read any tables & charts in your book, do practice NCLEX questions to make sure you can apply the information and watch youtube videos. Form a study group for a last review of material.

Good luck!
