This is my letter of resignation. My last available day will be -------. Thank you for the positive experience I've had here.
That's the letter. It goes into you HR folder, probably, so it doesn't require more. It's my opinion that you should tell your boss, in person, that you are leaving, before you turn in the letter. Most bosses are at least partly happy that their staff members find something to help advance their careers or happiness.
Thank you all. I told them today and handed the letter when they asked me to. All positive comments from my end. Of course both of my bosses had a moment of being flustered red. They were probably upset but they told me to go and grow. They are good bosses. Ofcourse the news spread like wild fire. I have to endure it till my last day. Ofcourse, I will still be providing good patient care.

Hello everyone!
I accepted a job offer for another hospital but now I am preparing to tell my manager that I will be resigning.
Any tips on how to make it smoother?
I'm in the process of writing my resignation letter as we speak.
Thank you all!
