I am getting ready to take the Hesi Pn exit exam required for Lpn to rn bridge. I do not know what to expect and how to get at least an 800. It would help knowing what a lot of the questions address (ob, med/surg, leadership?, ...) I have the Hesi pn nclex review book and it doesn't seem anything like my other NCLEX books so I am nervous as to what to focus on. Any advice/tips would be great..thanks!

It really wasn't that hard. If you have been doing NCLEX questions and studying content review you will do fine. Take your time and read each question. An 800 is a breeze.
Thank you. I am getting stuck reviewing all the torts, malpractice, ..basically legal stuff that i doubt is going to be on there but don't want to skip over it. Is it basically a lot of med/surg type questions?

Just took it 2 wks ago. There was a mix of everything. scope of practice, anatomy, drug calc, OB, Peds, med-surg, cna. Just do the practice tests on the CD from the HESI book over and over and NCLEX questions. That is what I did, tons of NCLEX questions and the HESI practice tests and did very well.
thank you, I guess just practice questions and understanding what i missed? I am studying 3-4 hrs/day and plan on taking it in a week or so...hopefully enough time? how many questions are there?

Hope you did well. I am about to take my HESI-PN next Tuesday and I am at a lost on how to study. I am 3.5 student, but feel when I do practive questions it is a hit or miss....any other thoughts or suggestions on how to prepare or what areas to focus on? Thanks soooo much and congrats to all who have passed!
