Timeline for Posting PA License on BON Website

Hey y'all!

Does anyone know/have any information on how long it takes for the Pennsylvania BON to update the website with your RN License?

I took my NCLEX and passed on June 16th but my license is still not posted. I don't know if PA is just really backed up or not (I think online it says it can take up to 30 days) but I was wondering how long it took anyone getting licensed in PA to have it posted after passing?

I actually just got it today! It took almost 2 weeks for them to post it from the date I tested. It says it can take up to 30 days but I was curious how soon it actually takes, so hopefully this can help someone else too!

I’m also waiting for mine. I tested on June 18 and quick results say I passed. I have been checking every day hoping that it will be posted.

My friend took hers on the 18th and her license just showed up today, so I would definitely expect you'll get yours soon if you haven't already!

I did send them an email this morning. IDK if it was the email or them posting it because it’s been 2 weeks.

@dcl1006 Congratulations! I also got mine recently. Does your PALS say if your paper license has been printed and mailed? My job is requesting a copy of the paper license and I was wondering how long it will take.

I got mine today.My next step is how to endorse the licence in maryland with just the liscence number.I think they will mail the licence in about 6 weeks.

Thank you! What does it say on PALS? Mine says ‘PRINTED’ and today’s date so IDK if that means it’s mailed out or not. I’m in the midst of a move and trying to keep track of everything is so hectic.

also (not sure if Maryland is doing this) check if they’re doing emergency temp licensing due to COVID-19. You may be able to get it first and then do the actual licensing. I know lots of states are doing that for nurses licensed in other states.
