Anyone in the process of applying???

For those wondering. My TCC pre req gpa was 3.33 (don't loose hope) and an 87.14% on my HESI.

-When do 12 hour clinical shifts start?

-Do you go to the hospital the day before clinical to get patient's info?

-Does the program break during the summer?

-Are all the tests computerized?

-Do you have any studying advice?

Clinicals usually start the 5th or 6th week. They will let u know on the course syllabus and even in class. Technically you don't get access to patients info until u reach pharmacology. The program is all year round, so when u take your summer course it'll end in july. In 108 & 130 your tests are done on a scantron. As far as studying advice, I'll be honest I'm still trying to figure out what works for me because it's nothing like your science courses. I do recommend to stay on top of your reading, and look up YouTube videos of you don't understand anything. I know Michael Linares from simple nursing has great videos and he teaches in such a way that will make you grasp and know the material. I just bought the package today and it's quite pricey but I know it'll be worth it. I would say to purchase the package once u get into pharm because he only teaches from pharm and up.
