Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

I don't think it depended on how many applicants it depends on budget . It's all speculation though but I'm trying to think positive that these seats will stay .I don't know if they eventually change it to 50 but from previous classes it looks like 2020 Spring was like 48 , then 50 for fall 2020 .

Just an FYI for everyone: Alicia says the admissions committee reviews the cumulative score. Also, the only section that isn’t factored into the scoring process is the personality section. Does it show on the Evolve site what the class size is? (Applicant pool)

There are two lecture sections with 35 seats each under Spring 2021  nursing

Oh OK I see.  I need to look at the first class for the LPN to RN cohort and see how many seats there are! I hope we can see how many applicants there are!

That is like to know but if you find out how many took the HESI that may help but that I can't find either

So I only see 61 seats available to the second semester class, but I don't know how many of those will be for new starts! OMG that looks bad!

So, I calculated the average class score and (assuming I did it correctly) It looks to be about 82.5. I still found it weird that the assessment report didn’t show math or critical thinking, so I spoke with a support rep and they said all scores will be sent to the school, and it’s common for the report to be missing scores on our end. I really hope this anxious feeling doesn’t last the whole 1-2 months until we get our letters ?

When I emailed Alicia (the Nursing Department administrative assistant), she told me the only section that isn’t factored into the scoring system is the personality section
