Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

Awesome! I wonder when the letters go out this time? I'm guessing late Sept or early October.

To be honest I am not sure it looks like it was mid October previously but the deadline is extended until September 15th so it might be November.. Do you know if they email us to let us know they received our application I mailed mine out on Monday this week!! I took my HESI on Saturday! I have all my pre reqs finished, however I just started Micro this semester. Do you have all of your classes done!? did you do well on your HESI?!? I am sooo anxious

Hey there! Just mailed off my application today it should be delivered tomorrow. They extended the deadline to September 20th due to COVID but I am unsure if that will affect the acceptance notifications. I have all the prereqs done I am currently taking BIO 142 and for the second half of the fall semester, I will take BIO 150, ENG 112, and PSY200. I took my HESI last Thursday and got 79.14% overall I was disappointed but one of these forums from 2019 had a girl who scored a 73 overall get accepted so I still applied. How did you guys do? I'm so anxious I literally felt like I was going to vomit walking out of the post office. How are we supposed to submit our HESI scores? Are those submitted automatically?

I applied last semester and they did email once to say there was a delay due to covid however they had received my application. I'm unsure if they will again. I sent mine end of July.

I am finishing the last two co-requisite I needed now (micro and A&P 2). I have everything else. I took HESI in Jan and got an 88. I'm too scared to take again! If I don't get in by next fall then I will.

They can see with the school when you've completed your HESI I believe. They can look it up.

I am taking micro now after that I’m done! I took my HESI last Saturday and got a 90.29 percent I’m so anxious and ready for October to get here LOL so we can get accepted! A 79 percent isn’t horrible from why I’ve seen so far a lot of the scores range from 69-80 percent! I think you have an excellent chance! An 88 percent is awesome especially with you finishing those classes now ?

@Michelle Ladson I am trying to hype myself up because I’ll have all prerequisites done before the start date and I was told that gives me a better chance. With you guys HESI scores I’m sure you’ll be accepted. October 15th can’t come soon enough for me... unless I don’t get accepted then they can keep that LOL.

I also applied for the Spring 2021 cohort! I'm taking Microbiology now, but super nervous I won't get accepted?

I haven't seen as much traffic this cohort time so I'm blindly telling myself maybe there are not as many applying for Spring. ?
