Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

Published

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

Why would they decrease seats for less applicants?

Maybe there were only 30 applicants . OK not realistic but it's an optimistic answer ?. The whole schedule was changed . All labs are on Saturday now they may have not had space . Maybe the old one was just a default schedule and it has to be updated ??‍♀️ It still may not be a set thing , who knows. I was only looking at it to get an idea on how many seats there are but it seems to be changing and all speculation

30 applicants would be awesome LOL!! And all labs on Saturday ?

yes 6:30-6:30 Saturday every single section ...there's five sections 6 seats per section .

Hi, I have also applied ? I have been so worked up, been searching everywhere for some feedback!

Hi welcome to the 1-2 month wait while we analyze everything until letters are sent .?

? I hope we all get in

So hopefully I looked at this right.
For fall 2020 they had 2 lecture classes with about 22/23 students each class. They had 4 labs with 6 students each, though some have only 5 or 4. None are at full capacity.
For Spring 2021 they have one lecture class with capacity of 30 students and 5 lab classes with 6 student capacity..

Again, hopefully they are still trying to figure numbers out and we are all accepted ?. Trying to stay as positive as possible!

That's right have to stay positive but I bet those classes were at capacity last time but had some to drop . I say that because the OP applied and she had the requirements needed so wouldn't make sense that they didn't offer her the spot if they had openings .

Yea they probably were full when it started.

Wow so 12 hours lab every Sat, plus they said 1-2 12 hour clinical shifts a week in addition to class?

Are you sure that 12 hour lab isn’t a clinical shift???
