I am soooo worried!!! I applied to the nursing program and I just got my grades back, and I was 1 point away from getting a B in Anatomy and Physiology 2!!! Am I not going to get in because I got a C???? I am sooo scared!!!! Also, when I start nursing school, I will be working full time. I can't get loans through fafsa because my mom and dad make too much (I have already tried, for 4 years!) and they are not willing to help me out with school so is it impossible to work full time and go to nursing school too? Thanks!

Not impossible, but hard. My parents wouldn't help me either b/c I had had the nerve to produce a baby out of wedlock. But you don't get loans through fafsa. That is where you get grants. Go to your school's financial aid office and get them to help you get student loans. You can get the loans regardless of your parents' income.

I just got my acceptance letter to nursing school in NC and last semester was the first time I got a bad grade and that was an C in a and p part 2 so it is not impossible to get in with a c in that class. other than that you should be able to get loans or scholarships. They are both worth a try

Does the Commonwealth of Virginia have any sort of grants available to state residents? That, in addition to checking on scholarships, would be worth a try.
Good luck to you!

Are you making fun of our region of the country? That's not very nice.
The school is located in what used to be known as the "tidewater" region of Virginia. (Some people still refer to "Tidewater, Virginia.") It is the coastal area of Southeaster Virginia. If you'll look at a map, you will see that the region is right at sea level and encompasses many major waterways that meet the Atlantic Ocean here and nearby. Our geography is dominated by those waterways, which rise and fall with the tides.

that is not true. fafsa gets you subsidized or unsubsidized loans.
