Anyone out there applying to the fall 2019 program? Today’s the first day to apply and I feel like I’m overly excited to submit my application lol. The only pre-req I haven’t taken is Bio 142 & the math placement test.

Please check your email. I received this email last week from Ms. Wilson. I must say the coupons are abit helpful. I saved a little over $200. The books are expensive nevertheless. I'm not getting financial aid to cover supplies because I'm only taking 10credits this semester. So, I went ahead and purchased all books from lippincott. I still have the other 3 books from Elsevier to purchase.
I've bought my scrubs but nothing else yet. I was going to hold off on books for a little bit. Does anyone feel like they might not get all the castle branch stuff uploaded before August 1st?
Is August 1 the deadline? We haven't received the course syllabus or the acknowledgement form for N108, so I think 4 if them are going to be incomplete until we start school. I've completed everything else before our orientation.
Thank you! I was previously an alternate and then got accepted, so maybe that’s why I didn’t get the email. Thank you again!

Can you please create the Facebook page?

Hey!! I can’t find the exact books we need on the lippincott website; how did you find them? Also, could you share the discount code you got? How much did you spend on the lippincott books?!
Thanks for the attachment. I saw that email, as well. I just wasn't sure if things would be different for the very first week.
That's a good question. I have not yet heard anything about attire for NSG 200 lab, so I would just assume that scrubs are worn for NSG 106.
Also, has everyone purchased all necessary items for class? I have everything, other than my nursing skills kit.

Another question: have any of you started buying the stuff we need for classes (scrubs, books, school supplies)? I’m trying to decide if I should start buying stuff now or wait. I’m scared to wait too long because I don’t want things to sell out. Of course I’m going to wait until we can use financial aid for books & probably scrubs too, but everything else, idk.
You don't have to wait on financial aid if you are worried about them running out of supplies. You can go ahead and purchase what you need and they will refund your money to you, once you show them your receipt. Please call TCC FAFSA office((757) 822-1488) to confirm that you're getting aid to cover your supplies before you go ahead and buy anything because they told me that because I'm only taking 10 credits it would be considered 3/4 time and I would not receive aid to purchase books.
