Tidewater Community College Nursing Fall 2019

Anyone out there applying to the fall 2019 program? Today’s the first day to apply and I feel like I’m overly excited to submit my application lol. The only pre-req I haven’t taken is Bio 142 & the math placement test.

I haven’t purchased the nursing skills kit yet either. I might have to go do that today.

Apparently there was a canvas post from Prof. Warren about NSG 200 - says to wear scrubs and bring your stethoscope on Monday

Is anyone else struggling to find the vital-signs videos? I found the check-lists, but I can't find the videos anywhere. There was something mentioned about the videos being in the lab section in canvas, but I see no separate sections for the lab portions of our classes.

Steps on how to get there (if it's been posted) would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I struggled to find it too - it’s on the lippincott website (thePoint). You have to sign in and everything, go to *my content*, and then go to videos under Taylor’s Clinical Nursing Skills. There you’ll find the vital signs module

Yes, I will be! I ordered all my books directly from the Lippincott and Elsevier websites. I’m also still currently waiting for any hardcover books to arrive. I don’t believe I will have all necessary items until the second week of class, unfortunately.

Also, for whatever reason, I’m unable to view NSG 100 and NSG 130 on my dashboard. I saw no invitation for acceptance in my email.
