This is a new tread for anyone applying July 15, 2014 for TCC Nursing program.

I got all seven books we need for NUR 108 and 130 for $136.67.

Hey ladies just wanted to let you all know that I ordered my NUR 108 & NUR 130 books from chegg.com. I compared prices with Barnes & Noble through the school and half.com but Chegg was the cheapest. I thought I'd share this info with you all to possibly help save money. I hope it was helpful.

Did you just rent your books or not? I rent my books from chegg all the time. For this nursing program I don't plan on renting books, I plan on purchasing all my books used or not.

I thought that same too if I were to get in. I want all my books for the long run.

Just an update: I officially tested out of the first semester for the LPNs, therefore another spot should open up for an alternate!

I wasn't assigned a cohort since I had the option of testing out. However I do know that if I didn't pass I would be in the January cohort.

Ohh ok gotcha! I know there were several other Lpn's that were going to test out. Hopefully they passed too! :)

There wasn't actually many LPNs because there was some mix up on a lot of the applications. And the tests were actually reeeeeaaaaaallly hard. But hopefully others passed.

Was there a final date to take the test to test out?

The first test was due last week, and the second is December 12th I believe. And from what I noticed, there was only 2 others testing for the 2nd but there could've been more that already tested.

and the testing center lady had no idea about the test or how it worked so I'm assuming I was one of the first to take it, if not the first.

Oh ok, but Yea I know there's 2 others that are testing that sat in front of me during orientation too.

Hopefully they do well! I'm a fresh graduate and found it hard!! I honestly thought I failed until they gave me my results
