This is a new tread for anyone applying July 15, 2014 for TCC Nursing program.
Hello, I have been reading posts for a year now on nursing hopefuls and have been really discouraged because I have a B average and TBH, I am really proud of that. We'll I have heard from other people I don't have a good chance of getting in because of that. The other day I took the hesi, OMG! That test was physically exhausting. Anyway I scored a 78.58%. They say your hesis score doesn't determine whether or not you get in. I hope not. I am posting this because I am happy to meet others that will be able to apply on July 15. Also, wanted to see if anyone is applying to the LPN to RN articulated track because they need a total of eight people to apply to run the program.
Actually I think it is a great achievement, but the lady I apple to didn't. But I will tell you, there are many RN programs. I also heard about INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY with there online program and you are able to do your clinically at a facility in your area as long as an RN will sign your documentation and be under her direction. That is my last resort. I wouldn't mind going to Sentara. It is cheaper than some colleges.

I have to, but I am taking statistics, pre-calculus, and art. I would never take chemistry 112 with two heavy math classes, that is a mistake. I will wait, if I don't get accepted I will have a whole semester to figure out what is my next step.
