I really recommend Professor ----------------------- for anatomy if you haven't signed up yet. He is really good and really fair about grades.

Thank you, okay ill have to look him up for A&P 2 then because one of my professors for A&P 1 now is so unorganized ??‍♀️I can not wait until this semester is over.

hey all! I'm applying for the Fall 2021 cohort. I'm nervous because applications are due 2/15? I'm taking A&P 1 and SDV Spring 2021 but I obviously won't have final grades for those classes until May, and I am hoping my transfer credits count for Psy 201/230 (I'm switching careers and I'm a counselor, I have no idea if they'll consider my classes from my masters to count for Psy 201/230) but I won't have taken the co-reqs of A&P 2, Micro, or Social Ethics. Is it true that if you don't have the co-reqs done that you're less competitive as an applicant? Do they make the decision for who gets in before my pre-req classes will be done in May? I'm freaking out after reading the Fall 2020 thread.

Hi! From my understanding it does make you more competitive if you have the co-reqs done first. They pick applicants based of a point system (how it works nobody really knows for sure). So the more you have completed and the higher your grades, the better it looks for your application.

Do they take into consideration any corequisites that won't be completed before the application deadline but will be completed before the cohort begins?

The classes need to be completed by the deadline(2/15/21) to be counted for ?

Welp that sucks.
Does TCC have you test on all 8 sections of the HESI?

Yes, only 7 sections get counted for a weighted average, and the remaining 2 sections: personality test and critical thinking don't count on the weighted average.

Well I guess I better score high on the HESI then ?. Have you all already registered for the information session on the 20th?

I did! Can't wait LOL

Yes I did! As far as the HESI, I don't remember it having physics though.  I saw some places do.

I checked the tcc website, do they give you points for volunteer experience? I received an email from VDH about volunteering for a mass  covid vaccination campaign and I sent in my application today.

I don’t think they do. I think ODU gives you points for volunteering.
