Hello! Im currently taking pre-requisites to apply into the nursing program in the fall.. either cohort will be fine with me but by the deadline I will only have the HESI, A&P I AND II, ENG11, PSY 200 and 235, and PHI 220 completed. I plan to complete the rest of my pre-requisites in the spring so I will meet all of the Pre-requisites by the start of the cohort! if you are currently in the program or recently got accepted please help! i need some insight and would like to be able to weigh my options out :)
Ambres, Welcome to the wait!!!!! I don't know how many applied but I've heard as many as 400 before. It is very competitive. With your grades and Hesi score you definitely would get in.
Hi Ambres! Is ethics the only pre-req you haven't completed yet? When I turned in my application I didn't have A&P1 & 2, Ethics, or child psych completed yet. Also a 4.0 & a 94 on Hesi, but worried that only having half of my pre-reqs completed at application time will make me not as competitive. I don't know numbers for this application period, but I'd say that 500 is probably around average for each application cycle. They only accept 64 I think for the fall (32 for each cohort). My mail was just delivered in VB and no letter today either. My mail lady was awesome; I think she is in just as much anticipation as I am. She told me she was on the lookout for me, but nothing today. Here's to hoping for tomorrow. Cheers everyone :)
Just checked the mail...nothing yet!!��I'm in VB. Have any of you in Portsmouth, Norfolk,or Chesapeake checked your mail today? This wait is torture!
