Hello! Im currently taking pre-requisites to apply into the nursing program in the fall.. either cohort will be fine with me but by the deadline I will only have the HESI, A&P I AND II, ENG11, PSY 200 and 235, and PHI 220 completed. I plan to complete the rest of my pre-requisites in the spring so I will meet all of the Pre-requisites by the start of the cohort! if you are currently in the program or recently got accepted please help! i need some insight and would like to be able to weigh my options out :)
I applied and was accepted without all my pre-reqs done. I had not completed BIO 141 & 142, PHI 220 or a PSY class (so 4 classes outstanding) at the time I submitted my application. The more classes taken help with the points assessed when they review the applications. I have a previous Bachelor's Degree and scored a 94 on my HESI so those probably made up for the points I missed out on without having those classes completed. Chem or Micro are the only required ones that have to be completed before you can apply.
Hey there you guys! Hope those of you who were accepted into nursing school are having a blast! I will be applying for the fall 2018 start. I'll only have lived in VA for two months by the time I apply. Were any of you in a similar boat, and were you accepted? Thanks for any time you can give!
Hi Christie I am Wanda I took all my pre reqs and have put in my application for the LPN to RN bridge program starting Aug 2018 I'm waiting on a letter to see if I was accepted.
