Hello! Im currently taking pre-requisites to apply into the nursing program in the fall.. either cohort will be fine with me but by the deadline I will only have the HESI, A&P I AND II, ENG11, PSY 200 and 235, and PHI 220 completed. I plan to complete the rest of my pre-requisites in the spring so I will meet all of the Pre-requisites by the start of the cohort! if you are currently in the program or recently got accepted please help! i need some insight and would like to be able to weigh my options out :)
I brought mine to the campus and the secretary had a nice big stack of applications on her desk. Just over a month and hopefully we'll all be getting our acceptance letters. I'm still a ball of nerves.
Just over two weeks left until results are out! :) Anyone else who applied have small kids and no family in the area? I've got two young ones and a husband in the military so I'm looking into childcare options for the fall. I was looking for some input from others in a similar situation.
Price-wise the CDC is fine. My oldest will start kindergarten in the fall and the nearest CDC is 20 minutes from where we live. I doubt they provide before and after school care with bus transportation with his elementary school. Also, if I get a 12-hr clinical day (I'm trying to plan for worse-case scenario), that would put me past the hours for the childcare center. I know the KinderCare I had my son at previously could not watch your child for more than 10 hours on a single day. It wouldn't be a problem if I knew my husband wouldn't have to leave, but that's an unrealistic expectation for me...
T-minus 1 week(ish) :) Not sure since the 15th falls on a Saturday if they'll send them out on Friday or wait until Monday, but regardless we'll know soon!
I was just coming on here to ask what anyone thought. I'm hoping they'll send them out on the 15th and maybe we'll get them Monday. Do they ever send them out earlier than the 15th?
Im so nervous but trying to stay hopeful. I wonder how many applied.
Since the 15th is a saturday i think they will send them Friday the 14th! I dont believe they will send them any earlier or even later than that! It's possible some of us will know Monday depending on where you are! I mailed mine and im getting nervous for some reason it wasn't delivered or something. I've called and emailed to make sure but no one is responding or answering lol. I'm getting nervous too!
