Was another pretty good day at work,  despite  having one person out.  Hoping for the same today.  Has been a fairly quiet 2 weeks

After work did the online meeting with the political group, thankfully it wasn't too long.  Then went to the bank and grocery stores.  Spent time knitting, almost done with the scarf, need to get a new project

Tonight will exercise and watch Star Trek, as they have my favorite bad episode,  the  one with the space hippies.  

Will be strangely warm today,  in the mid 70s, though will be down to the upper 40s by tomorrow

Hello Joe, and all who follow!

Joe, last night's Star Trek TOS here was Requiem for Methuselah, where Kirk meets Flint and his ward, on a supposedly uninhabited planet.  The hippie episode is interesting!! 

We are up early, will be at the studio by 1pm.  No rain in the forecast, some nice blue skies.  The clouds yesterday were beautiful.

G'day.

Garden variety day.  I had an orientee at the tail end of her orientation so that was very helpful.  I hate to say I don't like her much.  I think she'll be lazy and will complain a lot but don't want to judge her like that yet.

Liked the idea of Chinese food so much I made sesame chicken tonight (with bottled sauce). Had some leftover diced cauliflower and shredded carrots and green onion so stir-fried that. 

Gma is calling the dog names tonight. 

J22, how fun to see seals!

The rumor mill at work says the lab manager walked off the job today, a nurse was fired, and 2 housekeeping employees quit without notice. Yikes. The nurse was kind of an odd guy but I got along with him well enough. Don't know what that was all about. 

We've had warm days (75 and humid) but now the cold is coming. It was raining when I came home.

Ado, hope Gma settles down, and that the dog doesn't take her remarks seriously.  Oooo, that's a lot of staff change.  I assume this is a small facility?  Any changes are felt more keenly with a smaller hospital... 

Tweety, time will tell how the new employee will be (though I kinda trust your gut feeling, as this isn't your first rodeo).  Is the employee assigned to your floor and your shift?

We are home from our high desert/studio outing!  Got the two songs done quickly, worked a little on formulating a list of songs for the Dec. 10 Christmas program.  Trip there and back was uneventful, and we had another great meal at the Vietnamese restaurant.  It's a little hole-in-the-wall, but the food is just outstanding!

We are looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow, and I will catch up with chores and laundry then.
