Tweety you do seem to have bad luck with flights

Ado our choir did a get together like that a few years ago

Dianah that sounds like a nice time, thanks for the pictures

Stars it's good he's getting that eye checked.  Now if he would take his meds...

NJ22 that would be gross, finding a dead rat

Work was crazy yesterday, got a bunch of new cases as a coworker was overwhelmed and some got transferred to me.  And we had an hour and a half long meeting, so didn't have time for lunch.   Hoping today will be easier, no meetings and took care of all of the new cases except one

After work was nice, went to the Thai restaurant. Big crowd there, about 2 dozen, met a bunch of people I hadn't seen before.  The food was good and was quite spicy.  Despite that didn't have any issues sleeping last night

Today nothing unusual going on after work, just laundry and exercise.  Will text J today, but will not mention getting together, I'll leave that up to him.  Let him take the initiative, if he's interested

Will  be cooler today, in the low 60s

Good morning!

Joe, hope it's not too crazy.

Ado, hope the melatonin continues to help.  Too bad about the extra expenses.  I know the feeling.

Dianah, you guys look great!  Glad the eye situation is better.  I bet I have six pairs of old glasses lying around myself.

Stars, do you have a diagnosis on that knee?  Not being able to walk without that kind of pain must be miserable.  I know you've had gypsies before.  But maybe there's something they can do.  Best friend gets some kind of lubricating shot in his knee every now and then.  He says he's going to get one before we travel again.

J22, yep...a dead half a rat and ants all over would be a sign to call it a day.

Old blind-deaf boy dog was throwing up several times.  But he ate with his usual enthusiasm this morning.   Had insomnia real bad around 2AM and finally at 3AM took 1/2 a clonazepam and conked out not long after.  Still got up before 7AM.  I took the clonazepam every day I was gone so maybe sometime of rebound insomnia?  I don't want to depend on that and have been taking it quite a bit.  The less I take it the more effective it is when I need it.   Bleh...like Stars said, nothing wrong with wanting a good nights sleep.

I spent $289 at the grocery store of my dad's money he gave me.  It was amazing to see how it all added up so quickly.  I got 24 razor blades and those alone were $60 but that's many months worth, dog treats and food, and who knows what else that added up so much.

I ate all the food I'd prepared so I need to get some cooking done today.  Will make something with lentils I think.  I gained a few pounds and my BP is up in the undesirable range.

Have a great day!

Gads I slept late again! I got Nannie up and gave her the yogurt and pills. Now I am having coffee, hoping to wake up a little more! Hubby is at his appt for haircut and beard trim. Temp is 77 degrees and partly sunny/cloudy.

Not only am I barely awake, I can't think of anything else to say right now. But, you know I'll be back later!

Hope y'all are having a decent day!

Love the pictures, dianah.

I submit one of my own. Oklahoma's state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher. I love seeing them.

Hi. I suppose everyone has retired for the evening as I post this. Nice warm day today. I had a lovely 10 mile bike ride, then did some gardening. With the spot of rain we had Monday, and the warm weather, the weeds are going nuts! I planted some impatiens and talked to my roses and told them to hurry up and bloom! In a weak moment, I got pizza for dinner. And it was delicious.

NoStars, I don't know what Mr. Stars dose of paxil is, but suddenly stopping it can cause withdrawal symptoms, just adding to his misery. I hope your knee straightens up and behaves soon.

Ooh, what cool birds, Annie. I saw and heard many birds at the beach this morning: gulls, ducks, herons, red-wing black birds, killdeer, crows. And I spotted a soaring eagle on the drive home.
