Any SN's from the Philippines? Post here!

I'm on my last semester and will be graduating this March 2006.

Wahooo!!! A few more steps and my journey to the real world begins...

projenny don't brag that you're from UP coz i believe you're not...it doesnt matter were you study, the thing is you should pass all of your subjects and board exams....and if you get lucky enough you should experience what we experience :bluecry1: now....result was postponed because of leakage....waaaah!!!!:sniff:

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Yeah you'll really get lucky if you'll experience what our batch have experienced but if you come to think of it our batch will always be remembered and the topic of this june 2006 NLE leakage will be included the topics of every teachers in the college of nursing of every school in the Philippines and also not to forget in every reviews from now on because it really did create a big issue and conflicts! hehehe.............;)

Hey now, what's going on in here? :nono: I'm 32 and let me be your ate here. I don't think it looks good to other people that you're all behaving like this here. If you guys are really Nursing students, you shouldn't have the time to be wasting doing what you're doing. This is what I hate about Filipinos. Thinking you're better than everyone else. You guys are only students, and you already have such attitudes! I don't think people like you will go anywhere if you keep that attitude. It's not the school that matters here but the student! I wish every Filipino would be helpful and not pull people down or make anyone feel less superior. I hope when you're all nurses in the future, that you do your profession right and not give shame. We're already known for being crooked, for having crab mentality, is that why you guys don't even care????

I'm from Fatima and I'm proud and lucky to be studying Nursing there. So what if someone's from UP or whatever, it's not the student who pays the tuition fees but the parents. I hope you make your parents proud because they are not picking money off the floor!

This place is here to help us and so that we learn. Let's keep it that way!

several of this poster's pieces were either off the rules or simply obnoxious (if you had the misfortune of reading them, really and i'm glad one of them got bleeped.) to cause this kind of reaction from everyone else. i'm sorry to say that this is merely the outcome of not paying attention and irresponsibility. forum rules say 1. don't post personal details for your safety, at the very least, from undue attention. 2. don't advertise (personal pages or whatever) because this forum doesn't sell or attach itself to any opinion, hearsay. just facts. 3. be nice. you can argue, why not, but limit yourself to the issue...

of all things, i'm floored by this poster's claim to be an isko (up student/ scholar ng bayan) yet at the same time allege up has lost it's quality, according to her as evidenced by its poor board performance. it's not like she doesn't know that the school she refers to is among the prestigious if not the most prestigious academic instiution in the country where people clobber each other to get in. i really don't get it.

hi, i'm a fourth year SN at fatima and hopefully will graduate by 2007.

please remember to abide by the terms of service that you agreed to when you signed up here as a member. we have very strict rules here and they need to be followed.

1. no tagalog. english only.

2. the idea of this forum is to remain anonymous, also for your safety. do not post your full name nor your e-mail address here.

3. please be courteous to others; flaming and name calling will not be tolerated.

come on guys what's all this?it isnt actually good to argue or react about something which was not supposed to be a subject for argument.this forum was constructed for us to relate with each other, share ideas, and experiences, by then we could give feedbacks, but those feedbacks shoud be designed for progress. im not trying to be ms. goody-two-shoes or something like that, but it just isnt nice to read a forum of "filipino" student nurses where in they just brag and scrutinize each other...to think that nurses and student nurses around the globe could read this...can we engage in a more meaningful conversation?....peace out! rock on!

come on guys what's all this?
this is the question, isn't it?

to clear things: this forum works on the principles that

1. people are truthful about who they are & what they say/post

2. people want to help each other.

experience had shown, however, that not all people in Internet forums believe in these 2 principles.

sadly, there had been cases when people had not been truthful about who they are (people who are not nurses nor lawyers posting in this forum, trying to sound like nurses/lawyers) nor had been helpful (people posting false information to mislead others).

what I'm trying to drive at is to have an open but discerning mind, to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I hope this clears things up for the members who were indignant when I pointed out the inconsistencies in this poster's words--which were physically impossible & incongruent, and cast a hallowed institution here in bad light. not to mention a violation of the TOS of this forum by posting her alleged friend's website in her posts.

5 or 6 people flamed somebody just by saying she is from UP. common. get a life people. Let it be.... it doesn't matter if your from UP, UST, FATIMA, SILLIMAN or wherever... top the board then, you have all the rights to brag. for now, study hard.

Goodluck to the students.

please read before you post.

nobody got flamed for saying she is from up.

it was just pointed out that she said she was a 2nd year nursing student, then said that she was a 1st year nursing student after less than 4 weeks.

dervid, racell (ms. goody, err...joking...), lotsa luv....in hindsight, yeah, i admit it's sooo trivial. i'm sorry, projenny... i was such an old hag. remember it's not you i was annoyed at, it's the not-so-nice behavior/attitude on board. clean slate. pinoy guy, i know where you're coming from but yeah, people do deserve another chance.

keep posting guys.

STOP making this thread as a hate/flame/debate thread.

keep on posting students... although I am not a student anymore, let's post by the topic.
