hi again! well im not sure about this, but i think its not true...i havent heard anyone from our school who was removed from the program because he/she failed the NAT...well perhaps no one failed, or maybe it depends on the school... we heared rumors like that when we were freshmen, it sort of scared us too, but anyway RELAX!!, , by now you would have already taken the exam...so...how was it?...easy right?:caduceus:

hi ishy! we had our NAT at second semester when i was a freshman in nursing school...well based on what i can remember...it was a three-hour exam, im not sure but i think it was sort of like that, well anyway the test consisted of 60 questions per subject, and there were some with smaller item numbers...like most of the tests we take, like entrance exams etc...each subject has a time limit, i think the subjects were English(its basically like a synonym-synonym, synonym-antonym thing, and spelling and grammar too), Mathematics (just minor calculations), Science, Abstract Reasoning, and a little bit of First Aid, i think that was it..well anyway from what i can remember...overall impression...well actually i didnt have any review or whatsoever for the test, i think almost all of us didnt...but hey...we all passed and we got high grades!, im not saying you do the same, and im not being conceited, im just telling you to relax...it wasnt that hard but it wasnt easy too of course, if you want to have the "genius" level for the result then study, im telling you you could really achieve it...goodluck! and God bless...

hey it was nothing...well anyway ur welcome! , actually u dnt have to worry about that charting thing too much experience makes it better...in the long run it would just be a peice of cake...really!

hi pharm_bsn, wow ur really really serious with this charting dilemma...well im not saying that u should not pay too much attention to it, well at least u found a book!:wink2:, all i could say is...its all up to you..its your decision, if you think the book is worth buying for then go...

hi pharm bsn! ur welcome!:wink2: :wink2:, actually i have never heard of a book about charting for nurses... but well perhaps there is one right?... poonam 25...hi! rn_crucial is right , why dont u choose the best nursing school around ur area, or if u are willing to go farther...the best nursing school in Luzon...there is a very tough competition on hiring these days.., and in additon there may be a lot of NLE takers but the passing rate is decreasing...so better pick the best ryt!? peace out! rock on

thank you so much!!:) :), we just came from two consecutive exposures of community health nursing, the family nursing care plan is a little different from the nursing care plan... so we sort of had a little trouble making good NCPs again, the website really helped...thank u again...:)

hi pharm_bsn, we had our lesson about charting on our primary health care nursing 100, on our first semester when i was in second year. actually, our phc teacher may have been the same with yours too, she did not elaborate much on charting and she did not give us reference books from where we could find more examples of charting, she just gave us the examples, both on the narrative and the soapie. we just learned to make our chartings better from experiences on the ward.., it was really funny coz during our preclinical exposure...we were asked to make a sample charting on our ward notebooks..our chartings were full of red ink...from our clinical instructor's corrections...so in the process we learned to make them better, but that doesnt mean im telling you that you should just let it be...why dont you ask your clinical instructors themselves if they could show you which books are good when it comes to charting...or well like this you could ask the many great brains here...im sure later you will be flooded with suggestions... peace out! rock on!

well yes i am still a student nurse, so obviously that means i have never worked as a a nurse in abroad yet, but no doubt about it, the grass is greener outside our fence! you just gotta work for it though...:wink2:

come on guys what's all this?it isnt actually good to argue or react about something which was not supposed to be a subject for argument.this forum was constructed for us to relate with each other, share ideas, and experiences, by then we could give feedbacks, but those feedbacks shoud be designed for progress. im not trying to be ms. goody-two-shoes or something like that, but it just isnt nice to read a forum of "filipino" student nurses where in they just brag and scrutinize each other...to think that nurses and student nurses around the globe could read this...can we engage in a more meaningful conversation?....peace out! rock on!

hehehe...that was quite humorous...well speaking of that, my classmates's mother is a doctor, she is currently taking a 2-year nursing course at some other school here in davao...to think that they're very rich, they have their own family business aside from their jobs...each family member has a car...including my classmate, and its noty just a car, its a chevy...,they live in a a very exclusive subdivision, and hello! im talking about here in the philippines, a 3rd world country so that means they're super wealthy...so um...i was just thinking what the hell was she studying nursing for!? come on lets not be hypocrites arent we all studying nursing because we believe we could be rich here?...well of course that's just a part of the reason, we filipino student nurses have the compassion too..., well maybe she just found her calling at a very late time....? so what's my point? nothin just talking...peace out!:nuke:

hi everybody!!! i heve been a member of allnurses.com for some months already but this is my first time to post a message here. im a 3rd year student nurse of san pedro college here in davao city..."nurses work good under pressure" anyway i hope we could all be friends!!! go pinoy student nurses! it it required that only english be use on this forum per the terms of service of this forum. tagalog is not permitted.

well for me there's actually nothing wrong with a doctor and a nurse dating each other. As long as neither of them is married...then why not?
