Some says the results will come out on july 16..........

Thanks Pink 20! is it really on the 16th that the result will come out. Is it true that it will be first seen on internet?.........yah, right me too i had nothing to do but eat.......watchtv..........waiting for my husband and daughter till they come home......surfing the net and most of all SLEEP!And really im becoming a buddha now.I hate this. I want to start working and pursue my next plan after knowing the result.Hope we both pass it. Good Luck!

hi everybody!!! i heve been a member of allnurses.com for some months already but this is my first time to post a message here. im a 3rd year student nurse of san pedro college here in davao city..."nurses work good under pressure" anyway i hope we could all be friends!!! go pinoy student nurses!:D

it it required that only english be use on this forum per the terms of service of this forum. tagalog is not permitted.

Hi everyone. I'm quite new here and just started taking up Nursing. I wanted to be a teacher before but just recently realized that I want to be a nurse instead. One thing I've noticed from many graduating Nursing students is that alot of them need to learn the English language because they write papers that are so hard to comprehend. I'm planning to help my friends with this by setting up some kind of English class on our free time. I know this will help alot when it's time to take the exams, which will all be in English ofcourse. There's a bad habit of Pinoys memorizing and not understanding so I hope that those who need help in this field will realize this early and do something about it. Just my 2 cents.

very true. how can you expect to answer questions correctly if you have the slightest idea of what's being asked??? worse, we often brush off "bad english" as a laughing matter when we all know that no excellent nurse (or any other worker) could be called one without effective communication skills, among others.

i think your idea is just wonderful. i wish you well.:balloons:

oh i thought ur from FATIMA! You're 1st year only? wow so advance for a freshman, you mentioned that ur doing research already and NCP eh. And as far as I know, research and NCP making is not yet offered this early.

You should be proud ur from UP you know, only a handful of students get accepted in that University. So far, you're the only one who felt sorry for the performance of your school. I am not really sure, but can you direct me to the site that says UP is faring poorly. And since you love fatima so much, why don't you transfer there next sem?

make up your mind.

I said i was 2nd year because I am an incoming 2nd year student. I am still first year.. I just entered the university last june.

And yes, we are making NCPs already..... We are required to make NCPs on our gen psychology subject . We made ncp about anxiety, fear... etc.

for someone who had been in The UP College of Nursing for exactly 1 month (it's July 14, 2006 right now and school started June 13, 2006) it is kinda weird to claim that you're an incoming 2nd year.

from your other post, you're not even sure you're gonna make it through 1st year.

maybe you should brush up on how they count the hospital days of a patient.

I have a few friends from The UP College of Nursing, admittedly they graduated a few years ahead of you...but they just told me they do NOT make NCPs in their 1st year.

FYI, I also teach (though not in UP), and NCPs are advanced--we cover the basics first before we venture to making NCPs.

1 month is too short to cover all the basics.

exactly.

they call the UP students "creme de la creme." they even brag about the "accept to reject" ratio.
