A word of warning.
Don't accept a job without going there first.
I went to interview in another state for what I thought would be my dream job.
OMG.
This lovely, lovely place that I had seen, researched, and read about on the internet was a DUMP! UGH! I wouldn't live there in a million years.
Make sure you check it out before accepting!
(This was for perm placement. I know Travel Nurses usually just interview on the phone for their 13-week stints.)

Thats always been a fear of mine. I won't do travel assignments because of where they might send me.
Well this was for a PERMANENT job.
Travel nursing is different; I mean, you know it's only going to last "X" amount of time.
That pretty much changes things. But I wouldn't have wanted to stay there that long, but I could have.
But I certainly wouldn't have relocated there!

While I would never commit to a permanent job site unseen, that is part of the fun of travelling. You get as much info as you can, but until you are really there you don't know what you are getting into. It adds to the adventure of it and tests your coping skills to the limit sometimes. But I have found that where ever I go, people are the same. I find 99% of the folks I meet are just wonderful, and 1% are real jerks. There is not a thing I can do to change the 1% so I don't even try, I just write them off for what they are, and I revel in the adventure of meeting new people, seeing new places, and not dying before I get the chance to see all the places I want to see. Open your eyes, widen your vistas, and enjoy life!
Blackcat, I'm not going to post it on the board.
