I really wanted to make one - I even bought the pumpkin and figured out what I would use to make the little spikes. Then we got our first case of COVID at school - ~40 had to go into quarantine. Parents are PISSED. Students are gossiping a lot and many have been coming to me to tell me about their family's experience with COVID. One girl told me today her grandfather who lives with them had it over Summer and died.
So now I am not going to do the COVID pumpkin. Not seeming so "cute" anymore (and I'm a little embarrassed that I was going to do it in the first place, but maybe that's just our nursing dark humor/coping).

I saw one online. It's a jack-o-lantern where the shape is the COVID virus.
